The Feeling Triad - Types Two, Three and Four - all seek attention. As with the Types in the Instinctive Triad, however, they go about it in different ways.
Twos feel they have to earn attention and do so by focussing their attention on others. So they do helpful things, are kind and considerate, they give to others - whether that be of their time, attention, service or material gifts.
Threes demand attention by being outstanding. Threes make others notice them through their accomplishments and success, by being exemplary. Threes want to be 'the best' and demand attention with their achievements.
Fours, being more introverted, withdraw to get attention. They feel different from others, less 'put together' and, feeling like outsiders, set themselves apart. They feel misunderstood, tending to view themselves as victims of their pasts and all the unfortunate things that have happened to them - thereby eliciting attention by focussing on their misfortune and difference.
